'resaltema'- something that is resilient bounces back - same for a person.

Are you sure that "resalti" means to bounce back in the sense of the English expression?

I think it is only a modest metaphorical extension of the literal meaning.

If you don't like resalta you could perhaps use something based on the idea of risorto.

I found in NPIV (definition 2) of risorteco. Eco de ekosistemo rezisti al perturbo kaj, post ĉi-lasta, retrovi sian originalan staton.

I shouldn't worry about it, children are very resilient. Ne maltrankviliĝu, la infana menso facile resaltas (estas risorteca).

Another line would be to use something based on the ideo of rezisto al perturbo.

or simply nedisiĝema/maldisiĝema
I like that one: "maldisiĝema".

Did you mean nedispeciĝema (no tendency to be broken apart, rather than to break apart)?
I’m pretty sure he did.
Thanks, corrected.

That definition for risorteca comes very close, thank you!

perturbebla, neperturbebla, malperturbebla

I think nedisiĝema might be better, because maldisiĝema seems to mean uninclined to be reassembled.

I like this word.

According to Wells:

resilient = elasta, resaltema.

eb.eric:nemalsukcesema, literally "not having tendency to fail"
You could say 'rezoluta'.

ReVo:

rezoluta = Firma pri siaj intencoj, eĉ koste de penoj por ilia realigo.

So, if you are 'rezoluta' then you're probably going to have a 'tendency not to fail'.

Yes, maybe that could work. I suppose 'risorteca' literally means 'springlike'.

ReVo mentions 'risortiĝi', but this is a slightly odd one. It's not in NPIV2002, nor in Kondratjev's dictionary. A Google search mainly brings up the ReVo page and not much else apart from it being used once in Le Monde Diplomatique. Here's the ReVo definition:

"risortiĝi = Reagi kiel risorto." (and it lists 'resalti' as a synonym).

I'm not sure, though, about the effect of adding '-iĝi' onto 'risort/'...
