Li neniam faros al vi honton, ne ofendos, ne kolerigos, ne venos ebria, ne stinkos je tabakfumo, per kiu antaŭe estis trasorbitaj eĉ ĉiuj viaj vestoj.

...mi sciis, mi sentis, ke tio estas odoro de mia edzo, odoro, kiu elvokis en mi teneran, mildan tremeton, apenaŭ li eniris la ĉambron.

Diru al mi, kara, kio premas vin, - ekparolis vi trankvile kaj aferece.

Demandoj:

Kion signifas la dikaj vortoj supere?

En dua frazo, kion signifas "apenaŭ"?: "openly" aŭ "scarcely"?

trasorbitaj = tra-sorb-itaj

tremeton = trem-eto, tremi = shiver

aferece = afer-ece = grave/serioze, sen emocio

I think the apenaŭ in this context mean he stepped "barely" in the door. In other words he opened the door and stood in the doorway. Or maybe it refers to odoro.... I feel the sentence is a bit badly formed and should have been split in two

la odoro de tabakfumo plene penetris en la vestaĵojn. La odoro plene ensorbiĝis en la vestaĵojn. La vestaĵoj ensorbis la odoron.

Ne! La afiŝinto volas scii kion signifas la vortoj ..... 'Kio' oni kutime ne pluraligas - do ne 'kioj'
