Little did you know means that you only knew a little bit and therefore missed something.

Iom vi sciis seems appropriate.

Since this is an idiom, I would recommend replacing it with something more bland like Vi ne sciis

If this is the case for you, then clearly your region has a different meaning of the expressions. Where I live, it means that you knew nothing at all.

I thought that Sudanglo's suggestions were great, actually. One has a typo but I would happily use any one of them as a less-bland translation for this suggestion.
