More suggestions welcome, especially for the case where the expression is used without the preceding question (as I saw once in a magazine article about Billy Graham, where it was used as a concluding observation).

Maybe Tiel plu, tiel bone but it's probably too much of an idiom to translate directly.
It might be best to translate it to something else in English first and then to Esperanto.
