Good afternoon,

Does "mi ne devas legi tiun libron" mean "I musn't read this book" or "I haven't to read this book"?

If it means "I musn't read this book", so wich Esperento sentence can translate the English one "I haven't to read this book"?

Thank you.

You have already decided that “ŝli” it's needed. So, do as you want. That seems to work in your “Esperanto”. If you would learn Spanish or Russian would you do the same? Just to make you think, I already know the answer.

Ĝis, Novatago.

I have never decided "ŝli" was needed, I just wrote I prefered it being what was used

Je n'ai jamais décidé que “ŝli” était nécessaire. Je ne faisais qu'écrire que je préférais que ce fût ce pronom qui fût employé

Yes but why not have some respect for what it comes from...

And put a dash ŝ-li or ŝ/li or ŝl-i? Otherwise it appears as a creation...
