There's a reason why a euphemism for a fart (at least in the US) is a "toot" and not a bang.
A loud fart has more of the sound of a loud trombone. It's a wind-escaping noise, rather than an explosive bang or pop. A wind instrument played badly sounds rather 'farty'. A drum played badly sounds nothing like a fart
If you were looking for a word other than "fart", I think that "muĝi" might be appropriate.
muĝi = Brui aŭdigante fortan, obtuzan, longe tiratan sonon
(to make a strong, low/unclear, and drawn out sound; that's the figurative meaning, literally it's "to moo" or "to low" but you see it figuratively a lot)
Maybe someone else can come up with a better idea.

On the grounds that burps are nicer than farts. Though no words in Esperanto are really rude.

OK, they might, but that's not the point, there's a wonderful array of methane-escaping noises out there to be savoured! (just not the smell

sudanglo:Chainy 'malrukti' is formed by analogy with maltrinki and malmanĝi which, not exactly logically, have been used in Esperanto jokingly for pisi and kaki repectively.There could be a minor problem though, while "trinki" and "manĝi" involve something going in, "rukti" involves something going out. Thus, the opposite would be something going in. How about subrukti?
