Nothing's ever a pity that it's written. What's a pity is what some people get out of it, or use it for okulumo.gif

I say this as someone who sees all information and products of an intelligent, sapient mind as having a certain value, even if it's unscientific, false, inefficient, negative, fantastical, or whatever (if it's somehow directly dangerous, then there's of course complications, but any dangerous, negative or pitiful mindsets associated with a book or belief would have probably arisen in some other manner if the book/belief in question didn't exist).
