How would you say something like "There is a one-in-ten chance"? Is it just "Ŝanco estas unu el dek" or is there a better way to express this?

Ŝanco is more like probability of success than the probability per se. For instance
 
  • Li havas nenian ŝancon esti akceptita. He has no change to get acceoted.
Altebrilas is right, the general word is probablo. For instance
