What would be the most elegant translation?
- poetoj de libera stil'

mnlg:I would just go with "liberstilaj poetoj", but I have to admit I do not exactly know what freestyle means in that context.I recommend the historical documentary Freestyle - the Art of Rhyme which shows quite neutral (=non-hyped) how the Hiphop Freestyle genre developed.
darkweasel:You've already asked about the translation of "freestyle" more than a year ago in the German-language forum. I proposed "spontanea rimado" back then, so freestyle poets could be "spontanerimantoj".Yes, I know. But the onliest folks I know and who make some Espo-Hiphop-Freestyle (tujrimado) efforts are Eterne Rima and Platano. And they prefer the translation "Libera Stil' ". That was the reason why I used variations of "liber... stil...". In respect of the pioneers.
