I'm wondering how to express this concept. For example, you're in a conversation and you go off on a rant and so you go to bring it back by going "Anyways, back to what we were saying..". Is there a casual way of doing the same thing in Esperanto?

I'd say: "parolante pri la malsekva/antauxa afero" or "parolante, pri kio ni parolis antauxe" or also "parolante, pri kio ni estis parolanta antauxe"
