There is already a thread about reform and someone deciding he is going to use a couple of extra pronouns (I didn't read the details as it is all so tedious and utterly boring). Hilarious!

1Guy1:I just had to laugh. How long has Esperanto been on Duolingo? Three days maybe? So, it will be fine to alert to duolingo about that. It's outrageous that people think that they have the right to teach things against the Fundamento, making useless the language because that create dialects, irregularities and extra useless solving-nothing things to learn. And all just because a personal like or dislike, or because the great lie about esperanto being sexist.

It won't be more harmfull to get out esperanto from Duolingo than let people teach a dialect, as if it were Esperanto.
How the hell are we going to argument about basic things about unity and regularity. If now the things are that way, esperanto is no anymore better than klingon, elvish or tokipona. Just a game to use only in useless congresses. Disgusting egoist people.
HEY!!!! PEOPLE AGAINST ESPERANTO HAS BEEN ARGUMENTING ABOUT THIS SINCE THE BEGINING, AND FAKE ESPERANTISTS ARE GOING TO MAKE TRUE THE DREAM OF ESPERANTO HATERS. Thank you very much Chuck, for nothing. The world today is just much worst. You can be proud.
Ĝis, Novatago.

nornen:It is not like this phenomenon was unique to Duolingo... Lernu has had it for years and still has. It's no the same, in Lernu there are trolls trying to cheat and impose their ideas. But Lernu teach real Esperanto grammar.

makis:That field day arrived much sooner than I thought it would...Yes this is really funny, 128 years of work are now going down through the toilet seat. There's a lot to celebrate.

According to novatago, duolingo is planning to teach a "reformed" esperanto. I wasn't aware of that. I thought you were talking about a post in some duolingo forum by some random user.
