Kudos to Vikivortaro, and Sonja, for including ‘aplikaĵo’ as a translation of ‘application’

The act of applying a concept (‘apliko’), and the resulting implementation (‘aplikaĵo’) need separate words.
Wells includes ‘apliko’, but not ‘aplikaĵo’. PIV, like Wells, includes ‘apliko’, but not ‘aplikaĵo’. Benson includes nothing for this sense of the word. ReVo does not include a separate entry for the word. Sonja includes ‘aplikaĵo’, but wrongly restricts it to software. Vikivortaro is right on the money, so especial kudos to Vikivortaro!

Efektivigi/a = implement(ation) / actualise(ation) / carry out / put into practice.
It actually covers both meanings with a simple ending change.

Either a neologism "?aplikationo" or a compound expression "poŝtelefona programo" (mallongige PtP, Potopo) seems to me convenient. I wonder how many people would understand what means implementation and which concept is implemented into what.
