Re-reading what I wrote, after some passage of time, it now seems to leap out at me that it would have been more elegant to say unu el tiaj konversacioj kun mia filo, kiuj ...

tiuj konversacioj = those conversations
tiaj konversacioj = such conversations / those kinds of conversations
