I've looked around... it seems that there is no real "official" esperanto equivalent for the inter- prefix in english. The vortaro says that International translates to internacia, so it appears like inter is used as in english.

What if, however, i wanted to say "interdependent" or "interplanetary"? The vortaro and all of the official prefix/suffix listings don't seem to offer a translation. Would this be "interdependa" or "interplaneda"?

Or is there some other esperanto-specific way to imply this reflexive or inclusive relationship?

Inter- in English is a prefix that means "between" or "among". In Esperanto, it's both a prefix and a preposition of its own. In short, you can not only use it like you would in English, you can also use it as a standalone word.

At least that's my understanding.

The prefix you are looking for is "inter-".

"Interdependa" and "interplaneda" are correct.
