Please can you help. How can I translate: someone is in tune (with himself)?

I think it means something along "he knows himself well" or has achieved inner peace. Never looked it up but my guess from context.

Perhaps 'akordiĝi kun' would be to be in tune (with somebody)

Actually, it is real American English. The context is: "He lived at peace with himself and the world because he was in tune: he practiced what he preached. He lived his beliefs. He could die with a good conscience." In German we say, somone is round with himself.

Some suggestions:
Li havas enan harmonion/integrecon.
Li ne havas enan konflikton.

Dankon Miland, I like the "ena harmonio". Now as I got some competent poeple, please one sentence more which is not that easy:
"May I live halfway as good a life and die as good a death."

Chainy (Mostrar perfil) 10 de enero de 2012 16:44:51

alonsososo:"May I live halfway as good a life and die as good a death."
Half as good as what?

Miland (Mostrar perfil) 10 de enero de 2012 17:48:20

alonsososo:"May I live halfway as good a life and die as good a death."
If that means "May my life be at least half good and my death be at least that good", I might put it Mi esperas al vivo almenaŭ duone bona, kaj morto almenaŭ tiel bona.

Chainy:
alonsososo:"May I live halfway as good a life and die as good a death."
Half as good as what?
Perhaps like: "May I live halfway as he (the person in the context)good a life and die as good a death."
