Esperant/iĝi: Studying Esperanto, Becoming an Esperantisto by your own effort.
Esperanti/iĝ/et/i: To study just a little bit of Esperanto… far from becoming an Esperantisto… yet.

What is the best and most concise way to express that?
'Ekstudinte Esperanton antaux semajnon, mi jam lernis multe.'
But personally, I think that user-friendly clarity is more important than a clever attempt to compress everything as much as possible, so I might prefer
'Mi komencis studi Esperanton antaux unu semajnon, kaj jam lernis multe.'
In other words, the best way may not always be the most concise.
