Don't take risks

I was translating the Fire Safety notices for the British Congress (only 3 weeks to go now) and wanted to find a good way of saying Don't take risks.

I was very surprised searching the Tekstaro not to find any examples of preni with risko.

Ne risku doesn't seem to be a comfortable translation

How about something like,

Ne pligrandigu la eblon de danĝero per via faro.

I suggest:

Ne estigu riskojn.

Nice and simple.

I wouldn't use "preni" with risko. It sounds like an excessively literal translation from English, to my ear.

I'd say "Ne risku!"

Riski is transitive but I think that "ne risku" works, just like "ne manĝu" works (even though "manĝi" is, of course, also transitive).

Simile al kunmetaĵoj kiel enretiĝi, enlitiĝi, enteriĝi, aŭ enkaviĝi kaj ĉar "en danĝero" sufiĉe oftas, mi proponas:

Ne endanĝeriĝu.

I think Erin's probably right that it's fine to use the straightforward form 'Ne risku!'

Sudanglo, could you give the full text to see it within context?
