You could also say ĉiuj akceptas/komprenas la danĝero(j)n en/de fumado.

Chainy:Check out the Tekstaro. You'll find quite a few uses of 'Kiel bone konate...'Are you sure? I found no examples searching for kiel bone konate in the tekstaro (the same thing happened with estas bone konate, BTW).
I had wondered about the verb koni. My problem is that it is used mainly for persons, who might be bone konataj.

I think I would prefer 'estas bone konata fakto, ke ...' to 'estas bone sciata fakto, ke ..'.
In the Tekstaro, I found 'larĝe konata fakto', 'vaste konata fakto' and 'monde konata fakto'
