The above sentence is from la "vorto de la tago".

I don't really understand it. Why not just "konsciis" here?

Konscii = to be aware

Konsciigi = to make (someone) aware.

My mistake. I had misread the sentence. I had read "Mi konsciigis al lian kulpon" which didn't make any sense obviously. Duh!
